Blackhawks vs Wild – Lineups, Broadcast Info, Game Thread

Nick Foligno Seth Jones Chicago Blackhawks

Hockey is BACK baby! And we get a laaaaate start at the United Center tonight with the late game on TNT’s national broadcast on a Wednesday night. There will be two Folignos on the ice tonight, which is always a good time. The Blackhawks get Tyler Johnson back from injury tonight which could help the offense at even strength and on the power play. Minnesota’s hurting as well, so this could be a competitive game.

Injury Report

Chicago Blackhawks

  • Connor Bedard (jaw), Connor MurphyNikita Zaitsev (knee), Anthony Beauvillier (wrist), Taylor Hall (knee), and (still) Andreas Athanasiou (groin) are on IR.
  • Minnesota Wild

  • Jared Spurgeon, Pat Maroon, Sam Hentges and Connor Dewar are on IR.
  • What to Watch For

  • The Blackhawks finished their schedule before the All-Star Game on a freezing cold streak offensively and on the road. But now they’re at home, Tyler Johnson is back and they have fresh legs.
  • Will Reichel come out of the break firing at will? With Tyler back and starting on his line that’s a good situation for him.
  • Mrazek was really good before the break. Can he stay hot after the long layoff?
  • Get Caught Up
