NBA Finals Pre-Gamin’: Warriors at Raptors (7:00 CT) – Lineups, Broadcast Info, Game Thread

The NBA Finals are back on our radar after a two-day layoff! Toronto put on a clinic on both sides of the ball with Kawhi Leonard and Pascal Siakam leading the way. Golden State didn’t look too sharp in its first action following an extended layoff that came after sweeping Portland in the Western Conference Finals.

So what do the Raptors and Warriors have in store for us as we gear up for Game 2? I’ll certainly be tuned in to find out.

Game Info

Golden State Warriors (0-1) at Toronto Raptors (1-0) – Sunday, June 1 at 7:00 p.m. CT on ABC.

  3. Andre Iguodala, SF
  4. Draymond Green, PF
  5. Jordan Bell, C

Bench:

  • DeMarcus Cousins
  • Shaun Livingston
  • Kevon Looney
  • Alfonzo McKinnie
  • Andrew Bogut

  • Damian Jones
  • Raptors

    Expected Starters:

    1. Kyle Lowry, PG
    2. Danny Green, SG
    3. Kawhi Leonard, SF
    4. Pascal Siakam, PF
    5. Marc Gasol, C

    Bench:

  • Fred VanVleet
  • Serge Ibaka
  • Norman Powell
  • OG Anunoby
  • Eric Moreland
  • Malcolm Miller
  • Jeremy Lin
  • Patrick McCaw
  • Jodie Meeks
  • Things to keep in mind

  • Kevin Durant is out again and won’t suit up until Game 3 at the earliest. Durant has been out since May 8, but the Warriors are 5-1 in the playoffs in his absence.
  • Boogie Cousins suffer a torn quad in Round 1 against the Clippers and finally returned to the lineup after a 44-day absence.  He was more-or-less a non-factor in Game 1, scoring three points (all on free throws), notching 2 assists, and snagging 2 steals in the process. The Warriors will need more from Cousins if they’re going to even this series at 1-1.
  • I’m curious to see how Pascal Siakam follows up his Game 1 performance. Siakam scored 32 points on 14-of-17 shooting, added 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 blocks, and a steal. Another box-score stuffing performance could go a long way toward Toronto taking a 2-0 lead out west.
