That was just so awesome.
With the Cubs down 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth inning, Ian Happ and Kyle Schwarber decided to take the game into their strong hands with a couple mighty swings of the bat.
First, Happ went deep to left, an opposite field shot into a sea of yellow shirts:

And then Kyle Schwarber followed Happ up with a majestic opposite-field shot of his own – so good to see him going the other way – and, naturally, it made the bullpen get down:

That was just magnificent. Both homers went the opposite way to left field, and both were the 13th homer of the year for the respective batter.
