Tonight, the Chicago Cubs are playing some interleague Spring Training baseball against the Red Sox, so you just know it’s gonna get wild (and, hey, it’ll be on MLB.TV (Red Sox broadcast), so you’ll be able to check it out, too!). If you don’t have MLB.TV, you can catch the audio on MLB.com.
As for the lineups, the Cubs are going with a lot of regulars tonight, minus Willson Contreras behind the plate. In his place, the newly named backup, Victor Caratini, gets the start. Yu Darvish will be pitching for the Cubs, though in his final start before the regular season, you might not see him throw too many innings (indeed, he’s not batting for himself).
The Red Sox are countering with a pretty full lineup of their own, and are starting Rick Porcello on the mound. I know we’ve had a lot of Spring Training games already this year (and we’re just a few days from Miami), but this is a pretty exciting matchup.
