Today, the Chicago Cubs tweeted a video of the top five plays of April, and although it’s fun to just enjoy the video, it’s also fun to try to guess what the five plays are before clicking play. So I’m going to do it right now in my head.
And now I’ll watch:

How’d you do?
OK, so I was boom-boom-boom right out of the gate with the top three, but then I missed the top two. I forgot about the Quintana catch (though I’m not sure I would have had it on there), and I didn’t think about the pair of three-run homers in the comeback against the Dodgers as a “play,” though I probably should have. I though perhaps Kyle Schwarber’s game-winner might find its way on there, as well as one of the mammoth shots from the Arizona series.
