Tom Brady has won more Super Bowls than any other franchise in the history of the NFL. No. 7 came on this day two years ago when Brady led the Buccaneers to a win over the Chiefs in Super Bowl LV.
After winning six Super Bowls in New England with the Patriots, Brady’s next chapter came in Tampa Bay. Brady and the Buccaneers squared off with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. While Kansas City was the defending Super Bowl champion, it was all Tampa Bay in this one.
Tom Brady hooked up with Rob Gronkowski for touchdowns in the first and second quarters. Brady’s second touchdown pass to Gronkowski gave Tampa Bay a 14-3 lead with 6:05 left in the first half.

After a third Harrison Butker field goal in the third quarter, Leonard Fournette put the final nail in the coffin. Fournette’s 27-yard touchdown run made it 28-9 Buccaneers.
The Buccaneers would add a field goal and win 31-9. Brady completed 21 of 29 passes for 201 yards and three touchdowns. Gronkowski caught six passes for 67 yards and two touchdowns. Leonard Fournette rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries.
But it was Tampa Bay’s defense that was the deciding factor. The Buccaneers limited the high-powered Chiefs offense to just three field goals. Tampa Bay’s defense recorded three sacks, five tackles for loss, and hit Patrick Mahomes 10 times. They also logged nine pass defenses on the evening.
