Good morning, friends!
The 2015 MLB Non-Waiver Trade Deadline is tomorrow afternoon at 3pm CT, and I will be blogging/tweeting/videoing/whatevering from now until a few hours after the deadline (in case there are bits to analyze in the final hours, and also because there’s a Cubs game shortly thereafter).
It’s 38 hours straight of blogging and Rally Bucket-wearing thanks to your generosity to Make-A-Wish. Including a donation that has not yet posted to the fundraiser, we’ve raised over $25,000, which will allow Make-A-Wish to grant four full wishes to children and their families. You are all amazing (and you can still give here if you haven’t and want to).
Hopefully there are plenty of rumors and trades to discuss and fill our time together these next two days.
38 hours. That means a day from now – a full day – I will still have 14 hours left. Hooray for crazy online stunts (for a good cause)!
You can expect to see a lot more content than usual around here, as well as video chats (news permitting) at 3pm CT today, 11pm CT today (immediately after the Cubs game, and I think Luke and Michael are joining me for that one), and 12pm CT on July 31 (entering the home stretch). I will keep you apprised of whether that’s all happening and doable as the times approach.
You’ll want to follow BN on Twitter and like it on Facebook to maximize your Blogathon enjoyment.
Join in the fun on Twitter by using the #BNBlogathon hashtag (I’ll be sharing those tweets here throughout the Blogathon).
And let’s get this thing underway!
I’ll have to do some catching up from last night’s crazy trades and rumors …
