For what it’s worth, DeRozan posted the image of a fully charged battery to his Instagram story on Thursday night, perhaps alerting fans this news was on the horizon.

What we’re left to wonder now is whether or not the team’s leading scorer will be allowed to play in the upcoming game on Sunday night. Players must undergo cardio screening upon their return, and the training staff is going to have to ensure his conditioning is strong enough to step back onto the hardwood this quickly.
If one thing’s for sure, however, it’s that the Bulls are in a much better place with DeRozan now out of quarantine. The 32-year-old has been an early-season MVP candidate thanks to his efficient scoring and offensive playmaking. DeRozan currently sits 6th in the league in points per game and has averaged the most 4th quarter points.
