The New York Giants continue to add weapons for Daniel Jones. After extending Jones last week, the Giants have moved their focus to adding help in the passing game. Today the Giants have signed former Colts wide receiver Paris Campbell.

Paris Campbell comes to New York after spending his first four seasons in Indianapolis. Campbell caught a career-best 63 passes for 623 yards and three touchdowns last season. As we know, the QB situation for Campbell and Indianapolis receivers was less than desirable. So was the coaching situation, for that matter.
Campbell had 97 catches for 983 yards, and five touchdowns in 24 starts with the Colts. He was a second-round draft pick of the Colts in the 2019 NFL Draft out of Ohio State.
The Giants also acquired tight end Darren Waller on Tuesday afternoon in a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders. The Giants send a third-round pick to Vegas for Waller. While financials weren’t available at the time of publishing, this is presumably a team-friendly price for Campbell.
The Giants now have Darius Slayton, Isaiah Hodgins, Campbell, Waller, and Saquon Barkley for Daniel Jones to work with in the Giants’ offense next season.
New York’s offense was 15th in the NFL in scoring last season, averaging 21.5 points per game. Their passing offense ranked 26th and 24th in yardage and touchdowns.
