Mikael Hakkarainen, Brandon Pirri, John Quenneville, and Alec Regula had enough time with the Blackhawks to have a cup of coffee and maybe one skate around the ice. They now head back to the Rockford IceHogs in the AHL.
For the six players coming back to the Chicago Taxi Squad, they were able to get two games in with the IceHogs whole the Blackhawks were off. Reese Johnson tallied two goals and two assists, Nicolas Beaudin tallied two goals and an assist, Wyatt Kalynuk notched one assist, Lucas Carlsson had no points and just one shot over the two games, and Madison Bowey also had no points and two shots.
MacKenzie Entwistle returns to the Taxi Squad after starting the season on it for Chicago. In 12 games with the IceHogs this season, Entwistle has two goals and five points. He tallied a goal and an assist over the last two games for Rockford.
The Blackhawks play the Florida Panthers tonight and Thursday, while the IceHogs are off until Saturday, March 27th, when they play the Chicago Wolves.
