Nothing like a little bit of chaos to get the juice flowing on NBA Draft night.
The sign-and-trade deal between the Bucks and Kings that was supposed to send Bogdan Bogdanović has been scrapped:
The Kings and Milwaukee Bucks had hoped to bring Bogdanovic the framework of a sign-and-trade to negotiate a Bodanovic contract with Milwaukee on Friday, but he will move into the marketplace to find an offer sheet or seek out other sign-and-trade scenarios, sources said. https://t.co/KDlBiLcaBs

Draft-night Woj bombs are nothing new in these parts, but this one throws a real wrench in Milwaukee’s plans.
The Bucks are trying everything to keep star Giannis Antetokounpo happy after an early exit from the NBA playoffs. Trading for Bogdanović figured to help show how serious Milwaukee was about building a sustainable winner. Moreover, the Bogdan deal was to signify that the franchise was serious about piecing together a team good enough to convince Giannis from taking his talents elsewhere in free agency. Instead, it’s back to the drawing board for the Bucks.
The deal falling through leaves Milwaukee pursuing solutions elsewhere. Additionally, they must smooth it over with Donte Divincenzo, Ersan Ilyasova, and DJ Wilson — the players no longer going to Sacramento. Good luck with that.
